ZeroWait allows service providers to share their availability and accept bookings without exposing the private contents of their personal calendars.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide scheduling and booking functionality.

a. Information You Provide Directly

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Time zone
  • Booking details (date, time, service selected)

Service providers may also configure availability, services, and notification preferences.

b. Booking Participants

When someone books an appointment, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional, if SMS reminders are enabled)
  • Booking date and time

This information is used only to manage the booking and related notifications.

3. Calendar Integrations (Google Calendar)

a. What Calendar Data We Access

If a service provider chooses to connect their Google Calendar, we access calendar data only as required to provide scheduling functionality, including:

  • Reading free/busy availability to prevent double bookings
  • Creating calendar events for confirmed bookings
  • Updating or deleting booking-related calendar events when a booking is cancelled

We do not read, store, or analyze personal calendar event details unrelated to bookings created through our service.

b. How We Use Google User Data

Google Calendar data is used solely to:

  • Display accurate availability
  • Prevent scheduling conflicts
  • Synchronize booking events

We do not:

  • Sell Google user data
  • Use Google user data for advertising
  • Use Google user data for analytics unrelated to scheduling

c. Data Sharing

Calendar data obtained through Google APIs is not shared with third parties, except where required to provide core booking functionality (for example, sending booking confirmations to participants).

d. Data Retention & Revocation

Calendar access is maintained only while the user keeps the integration active.

Users may revoke access at any time:

  • From their ZeroWait dashboard
  • Or directly via their Google Account permissions

Once access is revoked, no further calendar data is accessed.

4. Emails & Calendar Invitations (iCal)

We send transactional emails related to bookings, including:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Cancellation notices
  • Rescheduling notifications

These emails may include an iCalendar (iCal) file to allow participants to add the appointment to their personal calendar.

Emails are sent only for transactional purposes, not marketing.

5. SMS Notifications (Twilio)

If enabled by the service provider, we may send transactional SMS notifications, such as:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Booking confirmations
  • Cancellation alerts

SMS messages are sent using third-party communication services (e.g., Twilio).

Phone numbers are:

  • Used only for booking-related notifications
  • Never sold or used for marketing without explicit consent

  • Maintain login sessions
